Flood Buds

Flood Buds is a small, arcade-style game about rescuing people during a flood. Play as a small boat and dodge various floating pieces of debris while rescuing "buds" who are stranded on rafts.

This project was made by Flubbamo, Aaron, and dino_emoji as a submission to Climate Jam 2025.

- How to Play -

Use WASD to move around and rescue "buds"! Careful, though... you can only hold so many people on your small boat. Try to save as many people as possible!

Additionally, the wind will impact your movement, and some of the debris as well. Be careful moving in these harsh conditions!

This game also has XBox controller support. You can move with the left joystick.

Call to Action: Climate disasters aren’t something to be taken lightly. Many times, people's lives are suddenly upended. From destruction of property to lives lost, it’s necessary for people to not remain unaware and unprepared for these disasters. We need to take the precaution and truly learn and prepare for them, so that no unnecessary damage or lost lives can occur
